Musculoskeletal physiotherapists
There is increasing demand for musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapists within our team as the workload is continually expanding. We are looking for MSK physiotherapists with the desire to apply their experience, knowledge and skills to patients with various MSK complaints.
You must be confident with delivery of thorough MSK assessment, diagnosis and clinical reasoning of treatment. You must be able to provide of a wide range of physiotherapy treatments including manual therapy, exercise prescription, acupuncture and electrotherapy. Practice must be patient centred and you must strive to achieve patient's goals and optimum potential. You must have the motivation to continue your self-development through independent practice.

Neurological physiotherapists
Macclesfield Physio are looking for experienced neurological physiotherapists to join their team. Our specialist physiotherapists must have proven clinical skills in neurological care and be able to practice independently.
You must be able to conduct a comprehensive neurological assessment for a wide range of complex neurological conditions including stroke, Parkinson's disease and brain/spinal cord injury. From this you must be able to formulate an individual problem list, treatment plan and suitable outcome measures. Neurological treatment must aim to maximise independence and quality of life through a range of techniques including:
- The Bobath approach
- Transfer rehabilitation
- Contracture management

- Splinting
- Hydrotherapy
- Electrotherapy

Paediatric physiotherapists
We are looking for paediatric physiotherapists with the experience to gain the most out of children (aged 0-18) with a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. For this role you must be enthusiastic, compassionate and have the creative ability to engage children in physiotherapy treatment.
You must also have the ability to build strong relationships with patient's parents/carers to provide them with support, education and home treatment programmes. You must be committed and motivated towards autonomous professional practice and development.
Our physiotherapists also have the opportunity to work alongside other multidisciplinary team members such as occupational therapists, podiatrists, speech and language therapists and orthotists.

Vestibular physiotherapists
Macclesfield Physio are also looking for experienced vestibular physiotherapists to join our team. In this highly specialised field, you must be able to assess, diagnose and put individual vestibular rehabilitation plans in place for various vestibular conditions. You must be confident in the application of your skills and have the knowledge to explain vestibular dysfunction to patients. You must follow evidence based practice and be independent in your professional development. You must also be able to liaise with Ear, Nose and Throat consultants and Neurological consultants if you feel patients require referral to these services.
